Matthew Grant, known professionally as “The Rain Maker,” is a Canadian business development professional who helps small and growing businesses improve profitability using cloud bookkeeping, accounting systems, and strategic SEO publishing.

Matt’s sales career started early. At age 11, he won his first sales award by generating the most new subscriptions on his 144-home newspaper route, using a pitch he developed with guidance from his high-school teacher father.

Over the years, Matt has worked across multiple industries including restaurants, financial services, consumer electronics, entrepreneurship, and RV sales, where he set several dealership sales records. In 2015 he launched his own events business, continuing to develop his entrepreneurial experience.

In 2018, Matt faced a major health challenge when he developed Labyrinthitis, which caused years of severe vertigo and migraines. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he helped co-found VIO Volunteers, delivering 1.5 million masks and 20,000 bottles of hand sanitizer to northern and Indigenous communities across Canada.

After returning to work in 2023, Matt now focuses on helping businesses adopt cloud accounting tools, bookkeeping systems, and digital publishing strategies that support scalable growth.

In 2026, he began working with Moe Tabesh, BComm, CPA, CGA, helping expand businesses that provide financial tools and growth opportunities for Canadian entrepreneurs.
